We invite everyone to come out and celebrate with us! The Douglasville Police Department, in partnership with Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, is sponsoring a Jamboree at our “House of Hope” located at 8304 Hollis Street, Douglasville, GA, on Saturday, August 26, from 1pm – 6pm. The Jamboree will include information from several surrounding city & county resources, balloon animals, kids activities, food, music, and more. There will be something to do for everyone.
Parking will be available at Simpson and Daughters Mortuary located at 6787 James D. Simpson Ave, adjacent to the event. This is a FREE Event.

On Saturday, September 16, the Douglasville Police Department will be holding our Fall Community Yard Sale. We invite you to repurpose your old items and find new treasures. Spaces will be a 12×12 grass area. You can request to be next to someone on the application (this person must fill out their own form). This event is RAIN or SHINE and will be held outside on our front lawn. Contact Sgt. Dean for an application or if you have any questions. Registration fee is $25, and an application must be completed and sent in, no spaces will be sold the day of the event.
Please make all inquiries reference this event prior to September 5. We will not have a waiting list, nor will we take names after the cut-off date due to time constraints.

The 2023 Fall Festival and Safety Expo sponsored by the Douglasville Police Department is happening on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10 am – 4 pm at the Douglasville Police Department, 2083 Fairburn Road, Douglasville, GA. 30135. This is a FREE Event to attend with vendors, touch-a-truck, K-9 demonstration, costume contests with prizes, kids activities, and more. This is a rain or shine event. Vendors are needed, the cost for booth space is $40 and includes a 12’x12’ space. Vendor Registration deadline is September 29. This is also our Faith & Blue Event, churches/religious organizations can contact Sgt. Dean for a separate application and will be placed in a specified area on property.

For the first time ever, Farmer’s Table & Metro Turf are coming together to create an unforgettable Fall Event in Douglas County. The Farmer’s Table will host shopping vendors and a local pumpkin patch on the property. It will be free to attend, as we want the community to support the local vendors on-site. Pumpkins will be available for purchase. A pumpkin photo booth will be available in the Sweet Shop Backyard.

Farmer’s Table will sell tickets for a hayride that will load & unload in the parking lot of First Church of the Nazarene (see the map below). The hayride will take you through the woods and across a field onto Metro Turf Industries’ property (located on Kings Hwy). There, the hayride will allow you to load or unload.At Metro Turf, there will be fall festival activities hosted by local businesses in Douglasville. There will be multiple food trucks on-site as well as fall treats. The hayride ticket price will include a hayride and entry to the festival activities.

Tickets –
Tickets for the hayride and fall activities will be available to purchase online. You can also purchase tickets the day of, just be aware that there may be a line. The tickets cost will include the hayride and entry into the festival activities and food trucks.

Parking –
If you park on the Farmer’s Table side, there is free entry into the market. To access the hayride and fall activities, you must purchase a ticket. You will load the hayride at Farmer’s Table and it will take you over to the activities and food trucks located at Metro Turf.If you park on the Metro Turf side, there will be an entry fee to get in (it will be the same cost as the hayride). The entry fee will get you into the fall activities, food truck park and include the hayride. You can load the hayride at Metro Turf and it will take you over to Farmer’s Table to experience the shopping vendors and pumpkin patch.We are so excited to host our First Annual Fast Fest in partnership with Metro Turf Industries and we can’t wait to provide Douglasville with a Fall Festival Experience!
